Cloud Infrastructure & Migration

Secure, scalable cloud solutions that let your team work from anywhere

Work From Anywhere — Without Compromising Security

The way businesses work has changed permanently. Teams are distributed. Staff work from home, from client sites, and from multiple offices. Your business applications and data need to be accessible wherever your people are — but that accessibility can’t come at the expense of security, reliability, or compliance.

Our cloud services are designed to give your business the best of both worlds: the flexibility to work from anywhere, and the confidence that your data is secure, backed up, and available when you need it. Everything we deploy is hosted in UK-based data centres, keeping your data onshore and making it easier to demonstrate compliance with UK GDPR.

Whether you’re moving to the cloud for the first time, or looking to improve a cloud setup that isn’t quite working as it should, our team will plan and execute the migration carefully — with minimal disruption to your day-to-day operations.

Our Cloud Services

Cloud Hosting

Rather than running servers in a cupboard under the stairs (or in an expensive data centre contract), we host your servers and systems in the cloud — on infrastructure that's fast, redundant, and professionally managed. No more worrying about hardware failures or running out of storage space. Your systems scale with you as your business grows, and you pay only for what you use.

Microsoft 365 — Setup, Migration, and Management

Microsoft 365 combines Exchange email, the full Office suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive in one monthly subscription. We handle the full M365 deployment: licence management, email migration, Teams configuration, SharePoint structure, security settings, and staff onboarding. We also provide ongoing management to ensure your M365 environment stays secure and up to date.

Cloud Backup

Relying on a single backup to a local drive is not a sufficient data protection strategy. Ransomware, hardware failure, accidental deletion, and office disasters can all put your data at risk. Our cloud backup service runs automatically every day, sending encrypted copies of your critical data to secure UK data centres. Backups are tested regularly so you can be confident they'll work when you need them.

Disaster Recovery

A cloud backup tells you your data is safe. A disaster recovery plan tells you how quickly you can get back to work if something goes seriously wrong. We design, document, and test disaster recovery solutions proportionate to your business's risk profile. For most clients, we can restore full business operations within hours — not days.

Is Cloud Right for My Business?

Moving to the cloud isn’t the right answer for every business in every situation — and we’ll always tell you honestly if the timing isn’t right or the cost-benefit doesn’t stack up. But for most businesses we speak to, the cloud offers genuine advantages:

Lower capital expenditure — no large upfront server hardware costs

Predictable monthly operating costs that scale with usage

Automatic updates and patching — no manual maintenance windows

Access from anywhere — office, home, or on the road

Improved resilience — redundant infrastructure and built-in failover

Faster deployment of new software and services

During our initial consultation, we’ll assess your current setup and give you an honest view of whether cloud migration makes sense for you — and if so, how to approach it sensibly.

Our Cloud Migration Process

Assessment & Planning

We take a thorough look at your existing infrastructure, applications, and data. We identify what should move to the cloud, what should stay on-premises, and what the migration sequence should be to minimise risk and disruption.

Architecture Design

We design your cloud environment to match your actual requirements — not an off-the-shelf template. Storage, compute, networking, security, access controls, and backup schedules are all configured specifically for your business.

Migration Execution

We carry out the migration in carefully planned stages, typically beginning with lower-risk workloads. We test at every stage before proceeding, and we schedule the most disruptive elements for evenings or weekends where possible.

Optimisation & Support

After go-live, we monitor your cloud environment closely, optimise performance and cost, and provide ongoing support. Many businesses find their cloud costs reduce over time as we identify and remove waste in their cloud footprint.

Data Security and UK Compliance

All of the cloud infrastructure we deploy for UK business clients is hosted in UK-based data centres. This matters for two reasons: latency (data closer to your team means faster access) and compliance (UK GDPR requires organisations to understand where personal data is stored and processed). We document everything clearly, so your data protection obligations are straightforward to demonstrate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is cloud storage safe for business data?

Yes — when set up correctly, cloud storage is typically more secure than on-premises storage for most businesses. Enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure includes encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, redundancy, and physical security that would be prohibitively expensive to replicate in a typical office environment.

Where is our data stored?

We host all cloud infrastructure for UK clients in UK-based data centres. This means your data stays onshore, which simplifies compliance with UK GDPR and other data protection obligations. We'll provide full documentation of where your data is stored and processed.

How long does a cloud migration take?

It depends on the complexity of your existing setup and the volume of data involved. A straightforward Microsoft 365 migration for a small business can typically be completed within a few days. A more complex migration involving multiple servers and legacy applications may take several weeks, carried out in planned stages.

Can you migrate us from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?

Yes. We handle migrations between major cloud platforms, including from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. We manage the full process — including email, contacts, calendar data, and file storage — with minimal disruption to your team.

What happens if our cloud provider has an outage?

We design cloud environments with redundancy and failover built in, and we maintain disaster recovery plans that account for provider outages. We also monitor your cloud infrastructure continuously and will begin remediation immediately if availability is affected.
